Tennis Club Kaštela (est. 1998) acts as the official organizer of the competition in the Republic of Croatia. It is one of the few sports associations in Dalmatia with an uninterrupted operational continuity spanning nearly three decades, providing public partners with maximum institutional stability and professional execution in accordance with the highest standards.

Lukas Sport Ltd. (est. 1997) is the project’s strategic lead and the owner of its vision. Lukas Sport is the longest-standing company in Croatia specializing in sports activities. As a pioneer in sports entrepreneurship, the company paved the way for modern tennis management in the region.

LEADERS AND VISIONARIES: FROM PROFESSIONAL FOUNDATIONS TO THE GLOBAL STAGE

The project is built on solid professional foundations established by its founder, Ivica Lukas, a Physical Education professor and a doyen of the tennis profession. Building on these foundations, the current leadership is transforming the project into a globally recognized brand:

FELIKS LUKAS, M.A. B.A. (Economics) – Strategic driver of the project, owner of the licenses, and CEO. As a visionary sports entrepreneur and innovator, Feliks has set the standards for modern WTA tournaments in Croatia. His international reputation is confirmed by his appointment to the WTA 125 Standards Committee, where he represents all tournaments from the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa). In addition, Feliks is the founder and innovator of Time Tennis, a revolutionary sports format that redefines modern tennis.

TAJNA LUKAS REČIĆ, M.A. B.Sc. (Economics) – Head of organization and the operational backbone of the project. A former Croatian national champion, Tajna oversees the entire execution of the tournament. Her expertise in kinesiology, confirmed by scientific publications in international professional journals, ensures an impeccable level of organizational excellence.

Our portfolio has become an essential stop for the world’s elite. Over 4,500 professionals have competed in our tournaments, including today’s leading figures in world tennis. We are proud that Grand Slam champions and Top 10 stars such as Jannik Sinner, Jasmine Paolini, Paula Badosa, and Casper Ruud took their first major professional steps on our courts. The team’s experience was also demonstrated through the organization of the 2016 Davis Cup Finals at the Arena Zagreb.
